Conference Delegate Expectation
We are expecting just over 600 pax to attend the conference this year. ​​

Getting There
The Australian Championship & Conference Permanent Makeup - Lash 2025 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf VIC 3006. Open in Google Maps

The best entry to the event space is via the Clarendon St entry.
​
​The MCEC is accessible by train, tram, bus, taxi/uber and car, please see the website for details on all transportation modes, including details for those travelling direct from the airport.
​
PARKING
Wilson Parking offers underground paid parking at the Exhibition Centre, there is also accessible parking with lift access access to Door 1, 6 and 10. Visit here for additional parking locations, costs and more information.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
A comprehensive network of trains, buses and trams link the Centre with Melbourne CBD and suburbs. Plan your journey with the PTV journey planner. Myki tickets are the best way to visit and travel around the city. Visit the Myki website for more details.
By train: Southern Cross Station is closest. Take tram routes 96, 109, or 12 to stop 124A Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street outside our Clarendon Street entrance or walk 10 mins to reach the venue.​
By tram: Tram routes 96, 109, and 12 will take you to stop 124A Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street which is outside the Clarendon Street entrance. Routes 70, 75, and the City Circle will take you to Stop 1 Spencer St/Flinders St, then you will need to make your way down Clarendon Street, generally a 5 minute walk.
By bus: Bus route 237 from Southern Cross Station stops at Eighteen Pence Lane/Lorimer Street, a short 10 minute walk from the Convention Centre Place entrance.
By bicycle: Bike hoops are available at South Wharf Promenade (Exhibition Centre) and Convention Centre Place (Convention Centre). With over 2700 bicycle hoops scattered across the city, it's a convenient way to travel to our venue.
By taxi or rideshare: Taxi rank/rideshare drop-off pick-up point just outside the Convention Centre Place entrance.

Registration
​All sponsors need to be registered for the conference, whether they are a Live Demo Speaker, Prime Speaker, Judge or will only be stationed in the sponsor area for the duration of the Championship and Conference.
Please refer to the sponsorship prospectus for your ticket entitlements. Conference Tickets give you access to the full event, including any conference-related sessions and the exhibition. Gala Dinner tickets are a separate social event from the full Conference Ticket.
In addition to your allocated conference and gala tickets, you are also entitled to 2 x Exhibitor Passes, which provide access to the exhibition only. These should be allocated to those responsible for bumping in items, managing your booth during the event and bump-out only (no conference or gala participation). If you wish to participate in sessions, purchase a full conference ticket here.

Exhibition Form
Please complete the following form no later than Monday 24 February 2025. This information will be shared with the venue for review, and is also crucial in determining arrangements with the freight forwarder.

Online Site Induction
All personnel responsible for bumping in items, managing your sponsor area during the event and/or bump-out is required to Linksafe online site induction module prior to commencing work at MCEC.
Bump In Process
​Bump in will take place on Monday, 7 April 3.00 PM - 5.00 PM (*Subject to change).
Upon arrival, please make your way to the registration desk, located on the concourse in between Gates 7 and 8. You'll be checked in and collect your sponsor name badges here.
During the bump-in all sponsors must wear a high vis vest, you will not be allowed on site without a vest.
Please note there is no storage for overstock; please account for this being stored underneath your trestle table or restocked the next day.

​INTERNET ACCESS
Complimentary wifi is available to all conference attendees, however we recommend for EFTPOS machines and use of laptops to refer to the exhibitor services guide to purchase secure internet.
​WHAT TO BRING ON EVENT DAY

WASTE MANAGEMENT/STORAGE
We have a limited number of bins within the space. Please keep your area neat and tidy throughout the conference.
There is little to no storage available at MCEC, please plan accordingly to store any additional items under your table, or neatly within your area. There will be no space for you to store.
At the end of the conference, please take any rubbish with you and dispose of it.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
All portable electrical equipment, appliances and leads used on the MCEC site must be tested and tagged in accordance with Australian Standard 3760 and WH&S Act 2011.
Any electrical equipment found not tested will have to be tested immediately or removed from the Centre. For safety reasons, double adaptors are not to be used in the Centre.

SECURITY
MCEC Security Officers will maintain security throughout the building. Whilst every responsible precaution is taken, the event organisers and MCEC accept no responsibility for any loss or damage occurring to persons or property at the Exhibition.
